FRANCIS
R. “RANDY” REID is a board certified ophthalmologist and founding president
of The Eye Center of Oak Ridge, an 11-physician eye care
group. Dr. Reid is the past Chief of Staff at Methodist
Medical Center of Oak Ridge, a member hospital of the Covenant
Health System. He has served on the Board of Directors
for Covenant Health and the Board of Methodist Medical
Center. In 2004, he was honored for completing ten years
of service on the Medical Center's Credentials Committee.
In 1993, Dr. Reid received the Tennessee Hospital Association
Meritorious Service Medical Staff Award. This award is
given to one Tennessee physician each year to recognize
excellence in medical staff leadership. Dr. Reid has served
on the faculty of The Complete Course for Medical Staff
Leaders since 1994.
