Ms. Mitchell O'Brien
is an associate with Horty, Springer & Mattern. She
is an editor of the Health Law Express, a free weekly
e-mail on health law developments, a contributor to HortySpringer
Publications, ACTION KIT for Hospital Law and The Medical
Staff Leader Monthly, and a presenter on HortySpringer
audio conferences. She has worked extensively in medical
staff matters including advising hospitals and their
medical staffs on medical staff bylaws, credentialing
and peer review matters. She serves as a Community Member
of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Institutional
Review Board and is a member of the Allegheny County,
Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and the American
Health Lawyers Association.
