Linda Haddad is a senior partner in the law firm of Horty, Springer & Mattern in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She serves on the faculty of the Estes Park Institute and has presented in hundreds of educational conferences, including programs conducted by the American Health Lawyers Association, medical societies, hospital associations, and various hospital and health care systems. She is a Fellow in the Allegheny County Bar Association and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
Ms. Haddad serves on the Board of the Volunteers in Medicine Institute and is a past chair of the Board of Directors of PHT Services, Ltd., a health care risk management organization based in Columbia, South Carolina.
She contributes to the HortySpringer publications relating to health law, including ACTION KIT for Hospital Law, The Medical Staff Leader Handbook Online Resource and ACTION KIT for Hospital Trustees.
She works extensively on Board and physician leadership issues, medical staff bylaws, physician contracts, system credentialing and physician organization matters. In addition, her work involves credentialing questions, including health, behavior and competence issues. She has served as counsel in scores of medical staff due process matters.
Ms. Haddad regularly advises hospitals and physician leaders on matters such as mission credentialing and physician/system integration strategies and processes.
