CERTIFICATION
Educational Intent
This program is designed for individuals who are responsible
for credentialing and supervising allied health professionals
in a hospital setting. Upon completion of this program, participants
should understand Joint Commission and CMS requirements regarding
allied health professionals, be able to identify legal issues
that are likely to arise with regard to the practice of allied
health professionals in the hospital and understand processes
and policies that can address those legal issues.

Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the

medical education for physicians.

physician should only claim credit commensurate with the
extent of their participation in the activity.

professionals are awarded 0.975 continuing education units
