Educational Intent
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able
to identify common credentialing issues relating to initial
appointment, reappointment, clinical privileges and allied
health professionals. Participants should be able to define
the legal responsibilities of medical staff leaders and
the legal protections available to them.

Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of
the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the (Name
