OIG Submits Semiannual Report to Congress
The Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) Office of Inspector General (“OIG”) published its Semiannual Report to Congress. This document summarizes its activities for the 6-month period ending on March 31, 2021. Among other topics, this report highlights OIG’s review of COVID-19 related programs and its ongoing efforts to identify, monitor, and target potential pandemic-related fraud, waste, and abuse. HHS Revises COVID-19 Hospital Reporting Guidance
HHS updated its COVID-19 Guidance for Hospital Reporting.  Effective June 10, 2021, hospitals will have the option to report influenza data and inventory and usage data for Therapeutic B as part of its daily COVID-19 reporting responsibilities.  To review this guidance, click here.
