OIG Updates its Work Plan

The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (“OIG”) updated its public-facing Work Plan. The OIG Work Plan summarizes new, ongoing, and revised areas of review that the OIG plans to pursue. The latest update includes audits of various telehealth services that were provided during the COVID-19 public health emergency; a review of the distribution of COVID-19 grant funds to high-risk health centers serving geographically isolated and economically or medically vulnerable populations; and an audit of duplicate payments made by Medicare and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
