The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed a physician’s challenge of a report that was made to the National Practitioner Data Bank by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons after they suspended his membership. The district court found the physician asserted no identifiable cause of action against the defendants and, even if he did, injunctive relief was inappropriate as he had other adequate remedies under the law.
