HHS OIG Updates COVID-19 FAQs
The Office of Inspector General (“OIG”) for the Department of Health and Human Services has updated its FAQ document that describes its approach to certain arrangements connected to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Among other things, the updates include a discussion of the legal implications of an ambulance provider or supplier waiving or discounting beneficiary cost-sharing obligations. CDC Update Guidance for Vaccinated Individuals
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) has updated its guidance for fully vaccinated individuals. These public health recommendations are updated and expanded based on the level of community spread, the percentage of the population that is fully vaccinated, and the latest science on COVID-19 vaccines.
